Joerg is working for a German premium OEM for 25+ years in various positions (Sales, Strategy, Audit, IT) and international assignments (Japan, USA, China).
He is currently Global Head IT Infrastructure for global financial services division and European wholesale / retail locations supporting 125.000 users globally.
Before this position, he was CIO China Aftersales Passenger Cars and Trucks as well as CIO Taiwan and Hong Kong. In this position, he oversaw Development and Operation of local / global Sales & Aftersales Applications as well as leading the IT Innovation Teams in China.
Joerg is docent at a German university, advisory board member of 5 startups and works as Social Media / Strategy / Tech Advisor. He is active on LinkedIn with ~1,2 Mio Followers and rated as Germany’s Nr 1 LinkedIn Tech Influencer. Furthermore, he is the publisher of a weekly AI Newsletter with ~ 500.000 subscribers.
Joerg holds a bachelor / master’s degree, as well as a Ph.D. in Economics.
